Minor Injury Updates on Opening Day

Dany Heatley	F	Stacey C.	Not skating on Monday, doubtful for opener.
Cam Fowler	D	Wilton	Skated by himself before practice on Monday, status for opening night still in the air.
David Krejci	F	Benson	Expected to miss the first three games of the regular season, while being on the IR.
John Gaudreau	F	Wilton	Expected to be in the line-up, skated on Tuesday after missing Monday to the flu.
Sean Monahan	F	Troy	Game time decision with the flu.
Jarome Iginla	F	Leo	Fully expected to be ready to go from his ankle injury.
Ryan Johansen	F	Grant	Questionable for opening night, as fitness and lack of practice is a question mark.
Kari Lehtonen	G	Benson	Appears to be ready to go for opening night.  No lingering issues from his concussion.
Tomas Tatar	F	Dale C.	Tatar was skating on Monday, still a possible return for opening night, assuming all the concussion tests have been passed.
David Perron	F	Stacey C.	Missed the team's last preseason game with a rib injury, but it sounds like he should be good to go for opening night.
Marian Gaborik	F	Stacey M.	Was preserved on the weekend to help ensure that he is in the opening night line-up for the Kings.  Expect him there.
PA Parenteau	F	Allan	Expected to play on Wednesday night, despite a lower-body injury in the last preseason game.  Injury considered minor.
Travis Zajac	F	Allan	Minor injury in the week, not considered serious at all, fully expected to dress on Thursday night.
Wayne Simmonds	F	Brenda	Ready to go for opening night, expected to be in the line-up.
Olli Maatta	D	Cam	Fully expect him in the line-up, coming off his shoulder injury.
Evgeni Malkin	F	Leo	Player says 50-50 chance of being in the line-up, coach says 99% chance... expect him in.
Chris Kunitz	F	Tony	Missed out on a practice with the flu, should be expected for Thursday's opener.
Jonathan Drouin	F	Dale C.	Starting the year on the IR, but it doesn't sound like he will miss many games.  Back at practice already, still no-contact, but close to being back 100%.
Phil Kessel	F	Tony	Fully expected to be in the Toronto line-up tonight, despite some issues at practice on the weekend.
Cody Franson	D	Cam	Won't play in the opener, but will likely draw in on the weekend.
Mike Green	D	Troy	Still listed as questionable for opening night, but if he misses, it won't be long before he is back in the line-up.
Kevin Bieksa	D	Dale B.	Traveled with the team to Calgary, is a game time decision to go with an upper-body injury.
Dustin Byfuglien	F	Tony	Practicing in the week, so he should be expected in the line-up on opening night, which goes on Thursday.
