It looks as though Michel Ouellet won't be starting the season with the Lightning, as he played himself into the minors. Ouellet cleared waivers on Tuesday and should be reporting to Norfolk in the AHL.Ouellet was signed on in Tampa last summer to a 2-year deal after a breakout year in Pittsburgh, but all that has been shorted by some sub-par efforts. At $1.25 million against the cap, he was an easy choice to demote and bring the team comfortably below the salary cap ceiling before their season starts on Saturday.
