Another big trade dropped on Monday morning, obviously after the Newsletter was published... the Dallas Stars acquired Ladislav Nagy (Box 1) from the Phoenix Coyotes for Matthias Tjarnqvist and a 1st rounder.
Nagy, 8th in Box scoring, has been taken once in the pool by Tim L. and will increase the firepower of the Stars down the stretch run. He has struggled somewhat this season on a dismal team, but with a little more help and talent up front in Dallas could create a healthy scoring environment for the Slovakian sniper.
This should prove to be considerable move when the playoffs are considered as well. He has moved to a contender and may prove to be an interesting selection come playoff time, depending on which box he lands in there.
