The Arizona Coyotes were dealt some bad news on Thursday, as defenseman Jacob Chychrun had to undergo surgery to repair a knee injury, which he suffered in training this week. The injury and the surgery appear to be quite significant, as the team is only saying that the 19-year old will be out indefinitely and more will be released when training camp opens in mid-September.The 16th overall pick in the 2016 entry draft made the leap to the NHL right away and didn't look out of place, especially in the statistical columns. Chychrun was a pool worthy defender, finishing 79th in defense scoring with 7 goals and 20 points in 68 games and his stock was certainly on the rise.
