The Ottawa Senators are not expecting to have their number one goalie, Craig Anderson, back in the crease to open up the home stretch of the regular season, as he had gone home to be with his family, as they welcomed a new addition. The Senators will go with Robin Lehner in net against the Red Wings on Thursday night, while rookie Andrew Hammond will be the back-up for the game.
This isn't quite the start to the post-Olympic stretch that Derek Wilton was expecting or hoping for, as his team has been taking their fair share of hits in the line-up department, Anderson being another one. Don't think it will last, but thankfully those who are playing are picking up points for him.
