Last season, the rookie pool was a little bit of a bust, since someone decided to rush off the starting line with four rookies at the draft, but to Ryan's credit, he had picked four decent rookies and they actually kept him in the race for the big money for quite a while, but that didn't quite last and winning his money back was a nice consolation prize.This season, the rookie pool is a possibility, but not yet a certainty and there will be more details about that here in the next week or so. With it being a possibility, the rookies are still going to be highlighted, as we could see a pretty good class break through to the bigs and put up some numbers.
These numbers are still fairly preliminary, but it's a good starting point, I think. We'll get to see a few of these players at the World Cup, so we'll have a good idea of what they are going to bring to the table in the coming season, while the rest, we'll have to wait and see they even make it out of training camp.
With Jimmy Vesey's UFA decision upcoming, he'll also be added to this list, but it hasn't quite been decided what he will be projected to do yet. There might be an updated list published, closer to the hockey pool draft, October 8th, so stay tuned.
