More Player Notes in the Draft (Nov 21)

Something we're watching on Saturday night, as the Minnesota Wild may not have forward Mikko Koivu in their line-up, as he missed practice on Thursday with a bout of the flu.  There is no guarantee that he will miss time, but there is also no guarantee that he'll play either.  He'll be listed as out day-to-day if he misses this game.

Koivu becomes the second forward to hit the news page this week for Dale B., but he has had a defenseman return to action, which likely makes for a small consolation.  Dale isn't having a bad week, but if he's missing out on a couple forwards, it may not improve his standing much.

Thanks to the massive snow storm in the Buffalo area, the NHL schedule for Friday night has been reduced from four games down to three. That Sabres/Rangers game will be made up at some point in the season, but that will remove a couple of starts for the pool tonight.

Out of the six goalies starting tonight, five of them are in the pool, the only one not picking up minutes or points for the pool totals is Boston's Niklas Svedberg, who gets the start against the Blue Jackets.

Wilton, Stacey C., Clayton, Mike and Grant K. will all have keepers going tonight, no one with a pair of goalies, so no one should be jumping out to a big lead in points only these guys going.

An updated list of injuries can be found here.
