Goalie Announcements (Oct 23)

The new week is upon us and we are now down to 11 teams in the goalie survivor pool.  The week gets started with a couple games on Monday night, both games offering up chances for some surviving teams.

Both games are getting started nice and early tonight, so we should know who is surviving and who is left to keep trying to win before we all go to bed tonight.

Jonathan Quick (Chris) versus Frederik Andersen (Mike)
In Toronto tonight, the Kings are in to visit the Maple Leafs and Chris will get the first of two starts tonight, as his California goalies are both on the road and could certainly sweep the night's action, if all goes well.  Mike's goalie, Frederik Andersen, stands in the way of Jonathan Quick, both having 5 wins and a shutout this season, thus far.  Should make for a pretty good game.

Martin Jones (Chris) versus Henrik Lundqvist (Brian)
It's another marquee match-up in goal on Broadway tonight, as Chris gets his second start with the visiting Sharks and Martin Jones, taking on Brian's starter, Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers.  This is also a match-up of teams two and three in the standings tonight, so there is more to this game than just surviving the mini-game, it's staying deep into the money.
