Barrett Jackman signed a 1-year deal as a Restricted Free Agent. He'll be turning 27 late this coming season and will be up for Unrestricted Free Agency next season unless he signs a big extension during the year.Jackman isn't a big-time point producer on the blueline, but he does do his job quite steadily. He finished 56th among defenseman scoring last season and he should remain pretty solid in that spot for this coming draft.
Maybe, just maybe... a kid like Erik Johnson (if he was to sign) would be a good fit with Jackman, unless he's really slated to be his replacement.
