Sheet Player News (Apr. 5)

A player that didn't sit on the injury/news page all year and should have was Box 14 defenseman Tyler Cuma of the Minnesota Wild, who has been toiling in the minors for the Wild all year. Well, on Wednesday, he was recalled by the big club on an emergency basis, with defenseman Clayton Stoner going down with an upper-body injury. Cuma, a 2008 1st round pick, has been touted to have plenty of potential, but has yet to realize any of it in the NHL. The NHL debut for Cuma could be coming up on Thursday, so we'll all get a look at what his development in the AHL has grown.

It sounds like Canadiens Box 25 forward Ryan White may be suffering from concussion symptoms of his own, as he has now missed his third straight game with headaches and cold-like symptoms.  The Canadiens haven't said officially, like they did with Carey Price last night, but speculation does suggest it and it doesn't sound implausible.  White has been a pretty good add to the Canadiens line-up, one of the few bright spots on the team this year and I would imagine that he will feature in with the club next season as well.
