Goalie Announcements (May 7)

Braden Holtby versus Matt Murray
The Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves a bit behind the 8-ball, as they go into Monday night's game against the Washington Capitals, down 3-2 in the series, but the good news is, they are at home tonight, so this back-and-forth series may still have some push and pull left in it.

Braden Holtby gets the task of trying to close out this series on the road and a big positive for him and the Capitals is that they have won a game in Pittsburgh already in this series, so the task doesn't seem quite so daunting.

On the home side, Matt Murray is slated to try and salvage the season for the Penguins and force a Game 7 in Washington.  Murray has been quite good in these playoffs, already notching 6 wins and 2 shutouts and he'll need a big game tonight.

Pekka Rinne versus Connor Hellebuyck
The Nashville Predators gave Pekka Rinne the 3rd period off in Game 5, as they were absolutely shell shocked in their defeat at home and they'll now hope that the extra rest will go a long ways into preventing an early exit from these playoffs, with Game 6 looming as the late one tonight.

The Predators didn't take advantage of home-ice on Saturday night and now they have themselves a huge mountain to climb, heading into Winnipeg, where the Jets have been strong all playoffs.

Connor Hellebuyck will be in net for the Jets, to no one's surprise, carrying his 2.29 GAA and .925 save percentage into this one, much better numbers than his counterpart, making this hook behind the 8-ball, all the more difficult.
