Krug Done for Round Two

There wasn't any surprise here, when the Boston Bruins announced on Saturday night, that defenseman Torey Krug will indeed miss the remainder of the second round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning with his lower-body injury. The belief is that it is an ankle injury and a serious one at that.

Krug has been absolutely massive in these playoffs for the Bruins, scoring 3 goals and 12 points in the first 11 games, really turning all the wheels, especially on the team's power play, so this comes as a major blow to the Bruins' chances of making it past the Lightning.

The star defender was taken three times in the hockey pool, including by one money hopeful still, Brenda's 4th place team, which will open play on Sunday 17 points back of 1st place.

The Bruins will look to stay alive in this series, down 3-1 to the Lightning, and will have to do so in Tampa this afternoon.
