Sheet Player News (Nov. 15)

The Hurricanes are obviously trying to find a spark within their line-up, as they seem to be shifting around some bodies in and out of the line-up.  On Monday, against the Flyers, the Canes took Box 21 forward Anthony Stewart out of the line-up as a healthy scratch, inserting Box 25 forward Zac Dalpe, who was a healthy scratch the game before, trying to get that spark.  This season, Stewart only has 3 goals in 15 games for the Hurricanes, so they are hoping that the trip to the press box will give him a little extra push to get his game rounded out and possibly a bit more consistent.

An upper-body injury will keep Box 12 defenseman Alec Martinez out of the Kings' line-up for an indefinite period of time and the team placed him on the injured reserve, expecting that he will be out for a significant amount of time.  Martinez was not a popular pick on the selection sheet this year, nor should he be now, with the injury to take into consideration.  In 16 games this season, Martinez has 2 goals, which would also give you his scoring rate as a reason not to pick him up in the pool.
