2015 Draft Class Signings (Sep 13)

The 31st overall pick in the Entry Draft, defenseman Jeremy Roy, signed his 3-year entry-level deal on Sunday, officially getting his time started with the San Jose Sharks.

Roy played with the Sherbrooke Phoenix in the QMJHL last season, scoring at a very reasonable rate for his club, picking up 43 points in 46 games with the club.

The scouting reports that were coming in before the draft were suggesting that Roy was one with a very good hockey IQ, quarterbacks the power play and has a really good all around game.  His size was the only real concern, as he stands only 6' tall, but if he can think the game at an elite level, we've seen those undersized guys make impressions in the league.

It looks like the Sharks have done alright with this pick.
