Well, it doesn't appear that Ivan Provorov will make that jump to the big leagues, as an 18-year old defenseman. Provorov and fellow 2015 1st round pick, Travis Konecny, were both sent back to the junior ranks on Wednesday, along with 2014 1st round pick, defenseman Travis Sanheim. Provorov was the only one of the three with a 2016 season projection, sitting around 25 points for the year, if he was to make it, but that isn't to be the case. Both he and Konecny were getting some positive reviews in camp over the past week, but the depth of the team has allowed for these guys to go back and develop in the junior ranks.
