On Tuesday, all the speculation has ended amongst all Canuck fans as Trevor Linden signs on for his 19th season... much to the delight of the Opiated Sherpa. Linden scored 12 goals and 25 points for Vancouver last season and led the team in scoring in the playoffs. The 20 have a combined total (minus the undisclosed salary for Linden) is $43 million and Linden should be worth under or around $1 million for the year, probably under. The Canucks have been linked with the Peter Forsberg sweepstakes and there is a fair bit of room left, if necessary. There is also a lot of rumours surrounding a few other players and with the depth they have on the blueline, you may see someone from there to move.
