Upper-Body Injury for Erat

An upper-body injury will keep Martin Erat at home during the Predators current road trip, which included Wednesday night against the Phoenix Coyotes.  I haven't seen anything to say when or where he suffered the injury, it could very well be a return of the back spasms he was suffering earlier in the year, but he will definitely miss Saturday's game in Los Angeles and Sunday's game in Anaheim.  That much we do know for sure.

It has been a fairly slow start to the season for Erat, which might be attributed to a lingering injury perhaps?  In only seven games this year, Erat has only picked up 3 assists, which doesn't translate very well to fantasy numbers.  Possibly some rest will help him sort everything out before the team returns home next week.

ImplicationsMissing out on at least three games will likely help Stuart down in the race for the Basement Dweller spot for Week Five, but he is a few points up on last place in the week already, so he should be hoping for better results over the weekend.  Stuart currently sits in last place in the standings and is already 7 points behind 19th place, so he'll need something good to happen soon or else he may get buried underneath everyone.
