The New York Rangers have sent defenseman Kevin Klein back home to visit with team physicians after the rugged defenseman was hurt blocking a shot in the 3rd period against the Capitals on Wednesday night. Klein left the game with an upper-body injury, some suggestions say it could be an arm injury, and won't be anywhere near the lineup for Saturday's game in Buffalo. Klein will be on the list as out day-to-day until further notice.
Klein was a Week Eighteen pick-up for Brenda & Seward and it has been working out for them, pretty well as any late season defenseman pick-up could have, having collected 7 points in 15 games to this point. It's hard to say how long they'll be without him, but the duo's season is pretty well done now, regardless.
An updated list of injuries can be found here.
