Jackets Without Two in Loss

The Blue Jackets were missing two key players in their loss to Calgary on Wednesday night. Newly out of the line-up were Kristian Huselius and Mike Peca, both veteran players sitting out with injury. Huselius suffered a minor lacerated wrist on Tuesday night in Edmonton, while Peca suffered a lower body injury in warm-ups for the game in Calgary. Huselius isn't thought to be on the shelf for too long, as there was no major damage to his wrist and Peca will likely be re-evaluated during the break to figure out how long he'll be out for.

Of more fantasy importance, Huselius is a Draft pick of John B.'s this season, as he leads the Draft heading into the break. He has 32 points in 43 games with the Jackets this season, including 13 goals. He has been a key part of Columbus' offense, working well on the top line with Rick Nash and R.J. Umberger for the better part of the season. You wouldn't have known that the Jackets were missing any offensive weapons against the Flames, as they lost 6-5 in the shootout.
