Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Apr 5)

It's a tale of two Millers, as Kevan Miller is dealing with a lower-body injury, currently day-to-day (and a game-time decision tonight), having already missed some time this weekend with the ailment.  While on Tuesday morning, it was announced that the Bruins have recalled Colin Miller, likely to fill in somewhere in the lineup tonight, likely in the place of Dennis Seidenberg, who is dealing with an injury of his own.  We'll see how this plays out, moving forward.

Let's see, Allan's Miller is the one that's out, while Eric's Miller is the one that comes in.  Eric now moves into the lead for projected games to be played this week, with the activation of his guy, which increases his chances, if only slightly, for a shot at 3rd place money.  His team is 18 points back with only six nights to play.

Hulking defenseman Erik Gudbranson is on his way back to Florida, as the Panthers continue on to Montreal for a game tonight, as he is dealing with an upper-body injury after taking a big hit in Toronto from Colin Greening.  The 24-year old defender has been dealing with concussion issues all year and the team is now worried about a recurrence, but we'll wait for the official word here.

Of course... just as I release the final version of the Playoff Pool selection sheet, where I added Gudbranson to Box 23, the team announces that he's hurt.  That's just perfect.  Stay tuned here, if you think the Panthers have a shot at a 2nd round appearance in these playoffs, which is the only way you might consider Gudbranson a reasonable pick in the pool.
