Morning Player Notes in the Draft (Feb 14)

In Monday night's game between the Rangers and Blue Jackets, Columbus forward Scott Hartnell was forced from the game with a lower-body injury, not to return.  I haven't seen any immediate updates from the team on Hartnell's condition, but the team has recalled Oliver Bjorkstrand on Tuesday morning, just in case Hartnell is unable to go again on Wednesday night, with the Toronto Maple Leafs in town.

Cam's team can't afford injuries at the moment, as his team has slipped in the tight race for the money, down to 8th place, after holding down a money spot from Week Eleven to Week Sixteen.  His team is only 8 points back and needs to find some scoring here soon.

On Tuesday morning, the Winnipeg Jets placed goalie Ondrej Pavelec on the Injured Reserve, retroactive to the 7th of February, when he suffered his lower-body injury.  Pavelec is eligible to come off the IR at any time, as the week has already passed, thanks to the retroactive placement, but the Jets can now use his roster spot for more depth at another position for the time being.

Talk about disappointing for Jeremy, who saw the injury occur in his first start after activating the keeper from the second Waiver Draft of the season.  Jeremy only collected 26 minutes worth of action, 7 more minutes than what Kristy & Don got from Jonathan Quick in LA this season.
