Bad news for the Arizona Coyotes, as Alex Galchenyuk's status has been downgraded from day-to-day to week-to-week on Tuesday and his availability for the team's season opener on October 4th is now doubtful, at best. Galchenyuk was hurt in preseason action, suffering a lower-body injury, but other than that, the details remain sketchy and vague from the team.It's this kind of uncertainty that makes the risk of taking him at the draft this weekend even greater and adjusting his projected points might be in order, if only slightly. If you're going to take the chance on him, you probably shouldn't be taking him in a spot where you would normally expect him to be and try and aim for a bargain pick at this point.
