Godfrey Signs

In all honesty, after watching the Canada/Russia SuperSeries in the summer, I would have thought for sure Josh Godfrey would have gotten his contract and a long look by the Capitals in this year's camp. Godfrey, 19, a defenseman for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds has a blistering shot from the point and made great use of it in the SuperSeries and will likely showcase it for Team Canada at the World Juniors this Christmas. He draws comparisons to Al MacInnis with the type of shot he has and he may want to sneak on to your list of players to watch next Fall.
