Let's start with some good news... Martin Havlat (Marcus) is about a week away from returning from his separated shoulder. He is marking November 28th on his calendar for his return. He is already in his rehab period and is strengthening his shoulder as you read this. Unfortunately, if you are looking to Chicago for your Waiver Draft pick... don't go after Rene Bourque (non-pool) unless you would like to wait a month for his services. He is out with a broken thumb.
Left on the shelf with another concussion, Todd Bertuzzi (John P.) looks to be close to coming back to the Ducks' line-up. He'll be returning to contact drills with the team and could be back in the line-up on the weekend, if not before. Mathieu Schneider (John B.) should return to the Ducks line-up on Wednesday after missing the last two games with a sore hip.
It looks like Robyn Regehr (Aaron) will not miss any time for the Flames after taking a shot to the ear on Sunday night against the Canucks. His injury was mostly just soreness... there were no stitches and no internal ear injuries, so he should be good to go.
Starting goaltender Kari Lehtonen (Jeff) should be sent down to the AHL for a couple weeks to rehab his groin, but Lehtonen might not think that's a great idea. Frankly, the team is playing well in front of their back-ups, so they are not rushing Lehtonen back, nor do they want do disrupt the team's confidence with a rusty keeper.
Jason Arnott (Marcus) missed last night's game with a strained neck and should be considered day-to-day for the time being.
