The upper-body injury that Nashville defenseman P.K. Subban suffered a couple of weeks ago doesn't appear to be getting any better and the Predators have now opted to place the All-Star on the Injured Reserve and they will go back to check up on him in a couple weeks time.
The injury is believed to be a back problem and there are rumblings that it could be a herniated disc in his back, which may require surgery, but it sounds like they are going to wait it out and see if they can put it off.
In injury has limited Subban to only 29 games this season, scoring 7 goals and 17 points, which has now dropped him to 205th overall in scoring.
For Eric, this continues to be a pretty big blow, as he was going to be a big part of his offense this season and was doing fairly well at, seeing as though he was still getting used to his new team. Eric's team has managed without him, since it has moved up four spots since the injury, from 13th to 9th.
