The Boston Bruins expect to be without defenseman Torey Krug today, when they take on the Capitals at home this afternoon. Krug blocked a shot this week, suffering a lower-body injury and the team is going to let him rest up, get healed, in hopes that he could be ready for the playoffs. There are reports out there, that Krug may not be ready and that's a certain possibility. He's considered day-to-day right now, so we'll have to wait and see.
Brenda & Seward open up Saturday with a 12-point deficit to 3rd place, which isn't impossible, rather it's very improbable. The loss of Krug, ahead of a game against a Caps team that may be resting on its laurels, could be a hard game to miss. The Bruins still have something to play for today and they could be hungry for goals.
