Well, Marcie's lead, heading into the 12-game schedule tonight is at 57 minutes. Her team leads the pool this week at 26 minutes in penalties and appears to be holding on for dear life for that second mini-game title.
Between Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, there will be all kinds of divisional games though, which could be very good for either team.
Tonight, the two pool teams will be combining for 20 skaters on the ice, take away the possible scratches as well, which is a certain possibility as well.
Helping Marcie defend her lead tonight will be the likes of Patrick Maroon of the Oilers, Ryan Kesler of the Ducks and Sam Bennett of the Flames, all three are 75 minutes or more already this season. These will be her best bets for some defensive penalties tonight. The Oilers have the Sharks, the Ducks play the Blackhawks and the Flames will see the Kings again, all three could be testy affairs.
In the 75+ minutes class for Troy tonight, he'll have the likes of Mark Borowiecki of the Senators (playing Boston), Cody McLeod of the Predators (playing Dallas), Matt Martin of the Leafs (playing Tampa Bay), Chris Thorburn of the Jets (playing Columbus) and Jared Boll & Josh Manson of the Ducks, as we know, have the Blackhawks.
Yeah, this will make for a good finish to the season, you know... if everyone misbehaves!
