Phoenix sent down 3 goalies, 6 defensemen and 10 forwards on Friday to sort of round out the roster a little more. The Coyotes current camp roster sits at 31, so there's still quite a few cuts yet to be made. In the group sent down, the noticeable names were David Leneveu, Olivier Latendresse and Yannick Lehoux. Nothing major, especially since they have made themselves a little bit deeper in net and up front, so those names should really surprise.
The Coyotes still have three goalies in camp; David Aebischer, Mikael Tellqvist and Alex Auld. Aebischer is the favourite to take the number one job from the other two and so he should be. Marcus holds Aebsicher in the Opiated Sherpa draft, so there is quite a bit of hope that he gets a lot of ice-time for the desert dogs.
Peter Mueller and Martin Hanzal still remain in camp and look to make a big impression as the Coyotes will need a lot of goals to win games, it would seem. If the Coyotes need goals, they will probably look to keep these two on their side, but for now, they remain on the bubble.
