The Dallas Stars have claimed
Brendan Morrison off of waivers from the Anaheim Ducks and he'll add a little more depth down the middle leading up to the stretch run. Morrison is a Box 4 forward, but not a popular one, so he won't be a big factor down the stretch in the Sheet pool.

The Penguins have now added
Craig Adams to the mix, who has been a healthy scratch for the Blackhawks this season. The Box 7 forward was not a popular pick either and will likely fill the same role as a depth player for the Penguins, as he was for Chicago.

The Maple Leafs made a big splash on the waiver wire, as they claimed
Martin Gerber from Ottawa, who was on re-entry waivers and
Eric Reitz from the Rangers. Gerber is the only pool worthy player in this byte, as he is still on the Sheet. Gerber has been in the minors for the last while and has been on-and-off the wires for the last week or so. Half of his remaining salary will be picked up for the rest of the season, likely to give
Vesa Toskala a break.
Clearing waivers included
Miroslav Satan, Gary Roberts, Aaron Voros and
Eric Perrin.
