One of the more interesting names this preseason has been Detroit's Tomas Tatar, their 2nd round pick this past summer. Tatar has turned a lot of heads in the Red Wings rookie camp, Traverse City rookie tournament and the team's main camp. That sort of praise has earned him his 3-year, entry-level deal today, as they'll now be able to move him to one of the junior teams in Canada or even the minors this season. He should be one to watch.
