The Avalanche decided to cut ten players on Saturday, including Brian Willsie,who I had on the Avalanche list of players to make it through. So, there is an adjustment that needs to be made to their theoretical roster going forward.Willsie signed a brand new deal with the Avalanche in July, a few days after free agency opened up. He played 42 games with the Avs last season, scoring a goal and three assists. This move will likely open up a spot for another young player this year.
