Draft Player News (Dec. 20)

It is believed that a slight groin knock is to blame for Kyle Quincey missing out on his second straight game on Monday night.  The injury was initially reported over the weekend, but missed here on the blog, but it has been caught now.  The injury isn't believed to be too serious, but I think we're seeing a little bit more precaution around groin injuries these days, which forces players to miss and extra game or two, especially if the injury is still rather tender to skate on.

Quincey is Chris M.'s only waiver draft pick so far this season and he hasn't been too efficient since his acquisition, picking up only 1 assist in five games to this point.  Chris currently sits in 15th place in the standings, 21 points out of the top 10 and 56 points out of the money at this point.  I think the best he can hope for is a segment prize, if he can improve his team just a bit more in the second waiver draft down the line.
