Sheet Player News (Dec. 18)

It appears that Box 23 forward Tyler Ennis has re-injured his ankle, the injury that had forced him to miss the bulk of the first third of the season. Ennis left the game on Saturday night against the Penguins with the injury and didn't return to the game. The coaching staff remains positive that the injury isn't too serious, but ankle injuries are tricky things and shouldn't be taken lightly.  Ennis has only appeared in 15 games this year for the Sabres, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists, a scoring rate that is nowhere near where his expectations were this year.

The St. Louis Blues were without Box 7 forward Jason Arnott on Saturday night for their game against the Nashville Predators.  It sounds like it was just a bug that had got him under the weather, so it doesn't sound like he'll miss too much time.  In 30 games this year, Arnott has 5 goals and 10 assists, scoring at a half a point-per-game this year, which is okay, but not great.  In his box on the sheet, he would be an okay selection, if you had taken him, not the best, but not too far off.
