Goalie Announcements (Nov 15)

We had four survival games last night and only one of them turned out to pull a win, which makes one team out of ten teams in the race with a win for next week and we're coming up to the halfway point already and it might be making a few people sweat a bit.

Stacey M.'s was that one team that got their win last night and now she can put her feet up and relax through the rest of the week.

Only three games on the NHL schedule, but only two of those games have a goalie in the survival pool, which means there could only be three teams, at best, qualified by the end of the night tonight.  How exciting!

Henrik Lundqvist (Brian) versus Corey Crawford (Jeremy)
Jeremy was the last team to qualify last week and he does have a chance to be through nice and early this week, but it is a tough test with the red hot Rangers in Chicago to take on his goalie, Corey Crawford.  The Blackhawks haven't exactly been at their best of late, so trying to halt the Rangers' 6-game winning streak will be a tough task, a result well worthy of survival.

Tuukka Rask (Clayton) versus John Gibson (Tony)
Tony has John Gibson back in the net for the Ducks these days, giving him two healthy goalies again and his task tonight is taking on Tuukka Rask and the Bruins, making Clayton's goalie the potential spoiler for the day.  Tony could use the points in this game, almost as much as the survival win, as his team will start the night 12 points back of Clayton's.
