Morning Player Notes in the Draft (Nov 22)

As if it wasn't difficult enough for the Montreal Canadiens, it was made a little harder on Tuesday night in Dallas, as they were left to play the Stars without star defenseman Shea Weber, who has been sidelined with a lower-body injury. There was no indication that there was any injury in the morning, when Weber took part in the morning skate, but he was eventually listed as a scratch ahead of the game and there hasn't been much for updates on his status this morning.  His availability for their next game, tonight in Nashville, is also in question, especially with the team recalling Jakub Jerabek from the minors.

Weber hasn't been great to start the regular season for Neil's pool team, having only 9 points in 19 games with the Canadiens, but he has been contributing every once and a while.  Neil's team currently sits in 19th, 36 points out of the money.
