In an odd turn of events, despite the busy week, Tuesday night, normally a very busy evening on the schedule, only has three games on it, which means the back end of this week is going to be nuts!
Out of the three games tonight, only two of them have the potential for a survival start, but will both of those games work out that way? We will soon find out!
The first game is a hard no! Brian Elliott, the survival starter for Stacey C. will get the night off, when the Flyers host the Canucks tonight in the earliest game on the schedule. Michal Neuvirth, a non-pool goalie, will go up against Wes' keeper, Jacob Markstrom tonight. Wes' team is already off to a good start this week, picking up 5 points last night and he could build on that tonight with a win.
There is a confirmed survival pool start in St. Louis, as Cam gets his first crack at it tonight with Jake Allen and the Blues playing host to the Oilers. The Blues are the class of the Western Conference and the Oilers are struggling to find consistency in their game these days. It's far from a slam dunk for the Blues, but I would think that the odds would be in their favour tonight.
