The Arizona Coyotes were not waiting very long to sign their top pick in the entry draft either, as they laid the groundwork for Dylan Strome to join the lineup in October, with his 3-year entry-level deal, likely close those already signed by Connor McDavid in Edmonton and Jack Eichel in Buffalo.
Strome is likely to be in the Coyotes' lineup, come October, since they have made a big deal of emptying out the closet of their veteran talent, to a point, as they move towards a very, very young roster for the 2016 season.
