Blake Leaves Game With Arm Laceration

Scary incident in the Ducks and Sharks game on Friday night, as Jason Blake left the game in the 3rd period after suffering a severe cut to his forearm.  Blake suffered the injury in a faceoff scramble, was carted off the ice on a stretcher and was sent to hospital to have the injury looked at.  There is no word on Saturday morning as to the severity of the injury, but we hope for the best, of course.

Consider the Box 6 forward out for a significant amount of time.

Update:  It is being reported that Blake is scheduled to be out 3 months and will need further corrective surgery on Monday to get him back to health.
