Sheet Player News (Oct 12)

The Ottawa Senators needed a real shake-up to their roster after not getting off to a good start this season, going 0-2-0 on the road. At home on Tuesday night, the Senators decided to change up a couple of faces, including Nikita Filatov, who was made into a healthy scratch for the first time this season. Filatov has 1 assist in the first two games, but hasn't displayed any of the two-way responsibility that the coaches would like to see more of. It doesn't look like his stay in Ottawa will allow him to float around like some would have thought he might have been allowed to.
