Goalie Announcements (Mar 29)

We're in the second-to-last week of the regular season and things are happening! Troy's team is leading the Mover & Shaker race with 21 points, Benson is defending his 3rd place position with a good week of his own at 18 points, while Chris' team sits at 16 points and Kristy & Don are at 15 points. Oh hell, let's look at the top five, as Stuart has 14 points, staying in the race.

It's a busy night tonight, with 10 games on the schedule and I would imagine that there is some Mover & Shaker action going on in some of these creases.

James Reimer (Troy) versus Craig Anderson (Tony)
Indeed, Troy gets a start from the Florida Panthers tonight... his only start, in fact. James Reimer gets the call for the Panthers, when they go into Ottawa to take on Craig Anderson and the Senators. Troy gets to defend his lead with this start, while Tony, at only 4 points this week, needs to claw back some points to have a hope of getting back to the 3rd place race.

Benson, who is still holding a firmer grasp on 3rd place, going into Thursday's action, does not have a start tonight, so this is good news for Tony... and Clayton!

Martin Jones (Chris) versus Juuse Saros (Eric)
Chris has one of possible two starts in Nashville tonight, as Martin Jones should be getting the nod for the San Jose Sharks, when they take on the Predators.  Chris' team is now eyeing 4th place in the standings, but his goalie will get a stiff test in Music City.  Eric appears to be getting a rare start from Nashville, as Juuse Saros is apparently going to get a home start tonight.

Darcy Kuemper (Neil) versus Jack Campbell (N/A)
This game would have been Chris' second start, if the Kings were to have gone with Jonathan Quick, but that isn't the case.  Jack Campbell will get the nod for the Kings, when they host the Coyotes, who went with Antti Raanta last night, which means that Darcy Kuemper should go tonight.  Kuemper gives Neil the only pool start in this game, not that Neil has much of a horse in any race left.

Jimmy Howard (Dale C.) versus Robin Lehner (Kristy & Don)
The duo have one possible start on the schedule and they are getting it from Robin Lehner and the Buffalo Sabres tonight. The Sabres are playing host to the Red Wings, a little bit of a bottom-feeder game, so a good game that could sway one way or the other.  There was no confirmed Red Wings starter, as of this afternoon, but one could probably assume that Jimmy Howard will get the nod.

Matt Murray (Stacey M.) versus Keith Kinkaid (Stuart)
Finally, Stuart has one start tonight too, since he isn't getting one from the Florida Panthers and his is coming from the new number one guy in New Jersey (it would seem), Keith Kinkaid, who gets the nod against the Pittsburgh Penguins.  That's a pretty big assignment, especially with a healthy Cory Schneider, so things appear to be swinging his way, getting rewarded for his great play of late.  Stacey M.'s team, which has 12 points this week, gets a start at the other end from Matt Murray and the Penguins will need him back to form, if they're going to three-peat.
