Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Mar 23)

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson suffered an upper-body injury on Sunday against the Devils and he hasn't been able to practice this week and he wasn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Calgary. The Ducks currently hold down the last wild card spot in the west and are running hot, so there might not be a big push to get Manson back in the lineup just yet. If the Ducks can secure a playoff spot, Manson could be a big part of their success at the back end.

We've already highlighted a loss of man games for Dale B.'s team and this is another player on the shelf for the 2nd placed team in the standings.  I suppose it is a benefit that it is a blueliner, rather than a high scoring forward, but Manson has been good this year, 31 points in 73 games, a real bargain pick this year.

I think I will keep this post to Wednesday's update, as the Thursday night update was a gooder... I want to make sure I'm publishing a bit today.
