Afternoon Player Notes (Oct 12)

Even though it was an off-day for games in the NHL, most teams took to the ice for practice.  At Blues practice, there was no Jaden Schwartz to be found, as it was reported shortly after practice that he is dealing with a lower-body injury and that his participation in Saturday's contest in Chicago is now in question.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of concern here at the moment and it is probably something that he will be able to play through, but at the same time, it's only Week Two of the season and the Blues could be cautious moving forward, possibly keeping him out to get him closer to 100%.

With 2 assists in their first three games of the season, Wes can hardly afford to be without Schwartz for too long, even in the early part of the season.  Teams are racing out of the blocks and Wes' 18th place team isn't quite keeping up the pace.  Here's hoping, for Wes' sake, that the injury isn't all that major.
