Could the Avalanche have their goaltending woes inside their own organization? The Avs announced that they signed prospect goalie, Trevor Cann, to a 3-year entry level deal on Monday, likely in hopes that he can help the team out, sooner rather than later. Cann, 20, has likely finished his OHL career with the London Knights, finishing his post-season in the third round of the playoffs. He'll likely get a good look in training camp, likely getting some good looks in the AHL next season. Cann was second round draft pick in 2007.
The Avalanche also signed OHL defenseman, Cameron Gaunce, to an entry-level deal, but the years were not disclosed in his release.
