A retirement note from Saturday, as Bobby Holik has personally announced his retirement from the NHL in order to spend more time with his family.In 62 games with the Devils in 2009, Holik only registered 9 points ranking him poorly among all forwards in the league. Holik hasn't been a solid pool player in quite some time, as he has been in the high 200's, in terms of pool point rankings, for the last four seasons.
At age 38, Holik leaves the NHL with 747 points in 1,314 games played.
