The Canucks have announced that they re-signed Steve Bernier to a 2-year deal on Thursday, but the cap figures were not disclosed with the release. Bernier had one of his average seasons with Vancouver in 2009, scoring 15 goals and 17 assists in 81 GP, which has him in the low 200's in the pool rankings, which is about where he has been in the last three seasons. Saying that, his salary cap hit last season was $2.5 million, so it should be expected to be about that or even a little less.The Canucks team update will be coming next week, outlining the team and their salary cap numbers going forward.
