Kessel's Expected Return from Surgery
Well, the surgery that Phil Kessel has undergone may keep him out of the line-up a little longer than originally expected. Kessel underwent shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff and his suggested rehab time is 4-to-6 months. At the short end of the term, he could be ready to go in late September, missing the better part of training camp, which was somewhat expected, but he also could be out until November, missing the first month and a bit of the season. You will have to keep your ear to the ground on draft day, as you will want to know his status before picking him for your team.
