It looks as though the Ducks will be without
Doug Weight (Aaron) a little longer than expected. The reports are out saying that the veteran centre will be out for about a week with a strained shoulder.

The veteran centre was picked up from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for
Andy McDonald (Don)
back in December. Since coming to the Ducks, Weight has 5 goals and 4 assists in 25 games. His ice-time in those 25 games has been fairly inconsistent, playing anywhere between 10 to 19 minutes a game in more of a limited role. Weight was picked up because of his impending free agency at the end of the year.
