Only one injury note from Friday night's action and that was the Minnesota Wild losing forward Nino Niederreiter early against the Florida Panthers, with what the team is calling a lower-body injury. Some reports in-game suggest that it could be a leg injury of some sort, but we'll wait for the official word from the team on this one. The Lightning are in Tampa Bay for their last game before the break, it is likely doubtful that Niederreiter would suit up for it, but we shall see.Derek B. currently has the 10th spot in the standings nailed down, 3 points clear of 11th and 26 points back of the money. The Swiss forward hasn't quite been as effective as some may have projected, with only 16 points in 29 games, so maybe a rest can get his head back in the game for the rest of the season.
