Bruins Sign Campbell and Two Dmen

The Bruins kept busy on Friday, signing three players to new deals and keeping them in the fold. Gregory Campbell and Adam McQuaid each signed 2-year deals, while Andrew Bodnarchuk signed a 1-year deal with the Bruins, all helping to shape up the depth of the team. Unfortunately, no financial numbers were given, so no cap hits can be talked about.

Campbell, acquired from the Panthers in the Nathan Horton deal, is the only player of the three that should have a spot on the club after playing 60 games with Florida, scoring 2 goals and 15 assists. I would imagine Campbell has a strong chance at making the line-up in Boston, but he'll likely have the same kind of checking role, which should keep his numbers lower.

Both McQuaid and Bodnarchuk saw some action with the Bruins in 2010, playing in 19 and 5 games respectively, and being as though they are both defensemen, they might have a hard time getting a full-time gig with the line-up they already have in place, barring injury of course.
