Andrew Ebbett really jumped around in the 2010 season, but has now got a chance with the Phoenix Coyotes after signing a 1-year deal worth $500,000. The diminutive winger was claimed on waivers twice in the regular season, once by the Ducks and then finally by the Blackhawks, but then missed 11 games due to injury as well, so he must be feeling fortunate that he has another go around in the NHL for the 2011 season.
In 61 games, Ebbett scored 9 goals and added 6 assists between the three teams, but his speed should be an asset on a quick Coyotes team, likely making him a good fit.

With Ebbett added to the team table, the Coyotes now have 19 players signed on for a cap hit of $42.9 million in bodies. Thanks to CapGeek.com, I'm slowly entering in some buyouts in a format that should work out for my spreadsheet and I can now report the total of the players plus three buyouts has a total cap hit of $44.7 million. They have now cleared the salary cap floor with that number and they have no fear of reaching the ceiling, so they look to be in good shape.
